I am an art therapist working from a trauma informed, decolonising and culturally safe lens. My approach is gentle, intuitive, collaborative. I see symptoms as survival strategies, never personal failures. Artmaking is an invitation, not a must. You do not need to be "good at art". We might use drawing, collage, clay, writing or objects from everyday life to explore what feels hard. The image becomes a 3rd space where we can look at your experiences together. I have particular experience with complex trauma, neurodivergence, identity and belonging, migration and diaspora stories, the impacts of racism and other systemic harms. I welcome queer, trans, Black, Brown, Indigenous and culturally diverse clients. You can expect me to be transparent, curious and respectful. I will check in often about pace, safety and consent. We will move between grounding, expression and meaning making. My hope is that you leave with a clearer sense of yourself, & feel safe and deeply embodied.
